Things like this, goldjadeocean.dreamwidth.org/71130.html and www.journalfen.net/community/fandom_wank/1250964.html are why I'm incredibly leery about posting comments online. You never know when someones going to go off on you. And if the person you manage to piss off is considered cool enough... There goes your little fandom safe space. I've also been in this situation, and it ran me off from fandom of any kind for more then a few years. I'm back and trying to find new fandoms, but that incident really scarred me more then I thought it did. 

Short version: If I comment on something, it means I really really thought it was awesome/loved it.
